From vineyards to kitchen, from rooms to spa through to animal management, we are proud of working to respect nature, its cycles, and the land where all those elements interact, avoiding unnecessary interference and aiming at the essential.

Nature is complex, and the rule in working to master complex systems is that everything takes longer, costs more and turns out differently to how you expected. It's only by getting "hands on," and actually working and living with these systems, that the challenges can be overcome and their true potential realized.
It's easy to see that change is coming at a feverish pace. What's harder to see is a way to ride that wave of change to reach a better place; to show that it is possible using appropriate technology to enhance the environment while creating a wholesome, satisfying and sustainable way of life.

We at Cefalicchio do not strive to rule the ecosystem here but rather to keep it whole. Nor everything we do will please everybody but we work hard to achieve results which are clear, consistent, honest and pure.

We do all this with passion, determination and the desire to express our identity through vine, a dish, a weekend or a ride on a horse.

Our journey began in Cefalicchio many years ago through which we have learned much and are still learning. We are pleased to think whoever passes through Cefalicchio will find themselves enriched by its contribution to nature.
